ABOUT MODLAB

Useful guidance.
Honest evidence.

ModLab is an independent guide to AI-assisted game modding. Universal Modder is our first topic. We are not affiliated with its authors or any game publisher.

How we label content

Source-reviewed means we checked the linked documentation. Upstream example means the project author or contributor supplied the case. Locally tested will mean we reproduced a result in the running game and published its versions and verification steps.

At launch, no ModLab in-game reproduction is complete. Concept illustrations are labelled and are not gameplay screenshots.

Version-sensitive advice

Installation commands, loader APIs and game builds change. Each guide has a source-review date. Confirm your exact environment before using a command or modifying files.

Costs and commercial content

The launch site has no checkout, paid subscription, sponsored placement or affiliate links. Future paid products will need clear deliverables, compatible versions and support terms. We do not charge for access to the open-source toolkit.

Sources and corrections

Original project documentation remains the authority for its implementation. Check the Universal Modder repository for current instructions. Until we have a dedicated support channel, use the repository for upstream project issues; it is not a ModLab support desk.
